FLAMINGO FLOCKING FUNDRAISER!
 
Sponsored by the Sudbury Pop Warner Cheerleaders
10% of the money raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation
 
How Flocking Works
You can flock a friend for a donation of only $15. Upon receipt of your order form and donation, a volunteer will secretly place a flock of SPW flamingos and spirit signs in the requested friend’s front yard. Flocking days are Monday — Friday. (Flamingos rest on weekends). Birds and signs will remain in the yard for no more than 24 hours. A notice will be attached explaining the removal policy, how to order the flamingos to be “forwarded”, and how to buy flamingo “insurance”. Sorry, our birds may not migrate outside of Sudbury, or at apartment complexes!
 
How Flocks Are Removed
The SPW Flocks will be removed from their “landing site” by a volunteer within 24 hours of placement. You can opt to forward the flock to a friend (depending on availability). Requests can be made by calling the Flamingo Hotline at 508-294-9797. Cash or check only. Please make checks payable to Sudbury Pop Warner. Attach your cash or check donation to the Flocking Order Form and mail the order form and money order or check to: Sudbury Pop Warner, 32 Blackmer Road, Sudbury MA 01776
Payment must be received before flocking will occur.
How to Avoid Being Flocked
PRE-FLAMINGO INSURANCE: Coverage for people who have not yet been flocked is $15. You will be protected throughout the entire flamingo season.
Flocking is done in good spirits and is not meant to be malicious. Also, to make this fundraiser successful, we must have willing participants. Flock removal does not require payment, but a donation to benefit the Sudbury Pop Warner program and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The Flamingos are precious property to us and we want to keep them in our possession so all can enjoy. Congratulation to both Sudbury Cheerleading teams. The B team took 1st place and the D team took 2nd in an amazing competition today at Regional Qualifiers. Both teams will advance to Regionals on November 19th at the DCU Ctr. in Worcester.

Also a special thanks to our Cheer Coaching staff, for all of your hard work and dedication to these girls.

Hello Friends,

We would like to thank you all for your work in making this Annual Kick-Off Comedy Dinner night a success; it was a great night. 

A special thanks to Kathy Yenke for her dedication and hard work organizing this fundraiser and those who helped at the event, Christina Granaham , Jill Rizzotti, Suzanne walker and Kelly Frissora

To all our coaches and team parents for organizing and creating wonderful baskets. and the parents and friends of SPW and LS Friends for your donations and contributions.

We will continue to have fundraisers this season and our hope is that many if not all, will participate in upcoming events..

Sudbury Pop Warner would like to congratulate the Sudbury Cheerleaders for an exceptional day.

Both B Team and D Team won first place today; they are this years 2011 MVL Champs..

The E Team put on a fantastic show today. These girls will be going far in the coming years...

Be sure to congratulate them all at the games tomorrow.....

B and D Teams, next stop will be on October 29th in Lowell, along with our Tiny Mites team

Please join the Sudbury Football and Cheering communities for a Comedy Night on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Stow Acres Country Club.  Each year, we have new growing fiscal demands and events like these allow us to improve our program.  This year we have nearly 200 children participating in the middle school and elementary school program and, we continue to experience a significant increase in expenditures with additional uniforms, pads, pants, jerseys, rental lights, tackling dummies, scholarship contributions, and field usage premiums. It’s a fun event and we hope as we have had in the past that all parents of player/cheerleader participate by coming or donating.  Additionally this year, we will introduce a headliner comedian to perform during the dinner. During and after dinner we will have both a silent and live auction along with great raffle donations. We would love to see all of you on October 15, to help football community continue to grow.

 The following items are required:

• Original Birth Certificate w/ raised seal(only if you are a new player)
• Pop Warner health form signed by your physician(will only be accepted)
• Health form filled out by parent
• Parent Consent form
• Parent conduct form
• Volunteer form, if you are coaching or a team parent (THIS IS A REQUIREMENT) or you will not be able to help with teams or on the fields (you must submit a copy of your license with the volunteer form as well)

PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE CHANGED OUR COLORS TO RED, WHITE AND BLUE

• Graphic connections will be taking orders’ for other clothing items and required shoes for both FOOTBALL and CHEER

CHEER:
All cheerleaders’ must come to be fitted for their uniforms by our vender’s representatives’ and must have $20 in a money order or cash ONLY to purchase required uniform spanks from vender.
All cheer leaders must have:

• Fitted clothing on and have hair up in a ponytail
• Be respectful and patient

FOOTBALL:
All Players must bring their helmets and shoulder pads to weigh-in to be certified as useable, we will also be taking donations as our past letters have stated. We are trying to implement a new program that will rewarding to each family by recycling equipment and reconditioning it as new; this would alleviate families from having the hassle of certifying equipment and not having to purchase new equipment yearly.


We do hope you understand the importance of our Weigh-In/Official Registration and make every effort possible to attend. Please be note this process will take time, so pleas allow for 30 minutes time and be patient, we will do our best to expedite the process as we are able to.
